About five months ago, I was browsing through different travel packages on the Internet. As I was looking, I came across a travel package that was especially cheap. The package included a flight, five night hotel stay and rental car, and I was honestly surprised at just how low the price of it was. The destination for this travel package was Seattle, and because I had never been there before (but had always thought that it looked like an interesting city), I decided to go ahead and book the package after thinking about it for just a couple of hours.
Since that was a full five months ago (and my trip wasn’t scheduled until the end of January), it seemed like it was going to be a really long time until I actually got to go. However, there are a lot of old sayings about how time flies when you are really busy, and because I have had so much to do at work over the last couple of months, it caught me off guard when I was looking at a calendar the other day and realized that my trip to Seattle is right around the corner.
