As a result of my job, I have traveled to quite a few cities throughout the United States. Although I can honestly say that I have never visited a city that I disliked, I can also say that there are certain cities that stand out above the rest. If I had to pick my favorite city that I have visited, it would have to be Seattle. I have been there quite a few times, and Seattle is a place that never fails to impress me. If I ever had an opportunity to work in Seattle, I would move there in a second.
I think the reason I like Seattle so much is that it seems extremely well-rounded. On one hand, Seattle is one of the hot-spots for innovation in the United States (especially in the field of technology). On the other hand, Seattle isn’t just devoted to work. Instead, they have a rich culture that span across all of the areas that most people care about, including the culinary and visual arts, along with a well-known music scene.
If that weren’t enough, Seattle is an active city, and whenever the weather is nice, you will always see lots of people who are out enjoying it (and when the weather’s bad, you can always count on the gyms throughout the city being packed with health conscious individuals).
