My fiancee and I have been engaged for just over three months. We’re planning on getting married in approximately six months, so we still have quite awhile to enjoy being engaged to each other. While I am definitely excited to get married to her, I am glad it’s still down the road, because I am actually enjoying this period of being engaged to her. I view being engaged as a transitional period in every one’s life, and I am glad that I am getting to spend this period of time with such a special woman.
Since I like keeping things fresh in our relationship, I decided to come up with a little surprise for my lady. Just under a month ago, I surprised her with a trip to Seattle. I had come across a great travel package on the Internet, so I decided to go ahead and book a trip using this package.
Once I had the trip booked, I printed off the confirmation email and wrapped it in a little box. A couple of days later, I gave my fiancee the box while we were eating dinner, and as soon as she opened it, she could barely contain her excitement about our upcoming trip to Seattle!
