Seattle is definitely not one of the cheaper cities in the United States. I have visited and lived in quite the wide variety of cities throughout the United States, and although Seattle is not the most expensive city I have visited, it is also far from being the cheapest. If you are going to take a trip there, you are definitely going to have a good time (it really doesn’t take that long to get used to the rain), but make sure you have some flexibility in your budget to ensure that you don’t put yourself in the red while you are hanging out in the city.

Even though a large percentage of Seattle can be quite pricey (or at least it always seems that way), there are ways to find cheap deals on certain things. One thing that I have been consistently successful at finding is cheap car rent in Seattle. Anytime I am planning on taking a trip there, I hop online and start browsing around the current rental car rates in Seattle. Normally, it only takes a little while before I find a cheap one, and once I do, I make sure to reserve it right away!
